Investment Strategy: Some part of the Scheme’s assets would be invested in relatively liquid large capitalisation stocks. Initial Public Offerings, Medium and Small Capitalisation stocks and unlisted securities may be investment sources for the fund. Unrated and non public offered illiquid securities will also be considered for the investment. The policy of the fund is to monitor internal valuation of all debt investments after approval. This fund includes Micro cap stocks market capitalization is equal to or lower than the 301st stock by market cap (after sorting the stocks in descending order of market cap) on the National Stock Exchange of India. Total 400 stocks are declared for the investment having the aggregated market capitalization of Rs. 6.50 lakh crores with 10 day trading average volumes. All rules and regulation of the scheme is under supervision of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996. This KIM is dated 14/09/2016. Sundaram Asset Management-Investment Manager for Sundaram Mutual Fund is attributed to 10,81,000 with the largest trading volume of 5 crore shares and smallest trading volume of 1275. The portfolio of the fund will definitely include around 50 stocks and one of the criteria for selecting a stock will be liquidity. Many industries and sub sectors as Restructuring, Infrastructure spending, Skilled labour, etc. are the focused and specialized investment tool for the fund.

Dividend Policy of the scheme: The Trustee Company authorizes and distributes dividend to the investors. Rs. 10 per unit is the face value of Dividend. After declaration and payment of dividend, the ex-dividend NAV will decline to the extent of the dividend payment. Further, all the details of any dividend like no. of Units could be seen at the Stock Exchange.

Plans /Options: Plans:
a) Regular Plan:- An investor may opt for the units in various mentioned options available for subscription under Regular Plan of the Scheme via NSE MFSS & BSE StAR Platform (Stock Exchange infrastructure) only during the NFO period.
b) Direct Plan:- It is a mode where an investors can purchase Units into the Scheme directly with the Fund and they don’t need distributors. Existing or new investors for the units are eligible for this plan. Under direct plan, investors can’t apply fund through Stock Exchange Platforms and all distributors platforms. Investment under this plan is less expensive than regular plan. It has separate NAV.
Options:-
a) Growth Option:-
Under this option, profit earned by the fund will be invested again in the applied schemes and will be reflected in the Net Asset Value. However, Investors will not be eligible for the dividend. If one is holding his units for a period of 12 months from the date of allotment, it will be beneficial as a long term capital gains for tax purpose.
b) Dividend Option:-
The investor will be eligible only for dividend. It is mandate to fill the unit holders name in the Register of the Scheme/ Statement of beneficial owners maintained by the Depositories in the Dividend Option category as on the Record Date will be entitled to the dividend. All the payable dividend must be notified through the Stock Exchange where the details of holdings units like NAV prices, date of allotment, size are mentioned.
